What is a Mummy

Have you ever thought really what is a Mummy and how in the world does it get to look that way.  Well a Mummy is just a corpse that has its skin and organs well preserved by either intentional or even incidental to some sort of chemicals, from sub zero temperatures and ever very low humidity will create this form.

All Mummies are either animals or humans, it is believed that the oldest mummified human corpse is over 6,000 years old and was found way back in 1936

Most Mummies that are seen today are in feature horror films as being some creature from the dark and walks slowly with their arms out.  One of the first films to feature a Mummy in horror movie was “The Jewel of Sever Stars” by Bram Stoker back in 1903.
